US ARMY & USMC Patches, Insignias and Ranks (Desert & Subdued)
US Army & USMC Patches, Insignias & Ranks
500 limited prints.
Suitable for 1/35 figures of Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan) and Operation Iraqi Freedom theater of operations, and Vietnam war was well, these are screen printed by Microscale. The artwork are extremely fine and I'm surprised that some of the minute details made it to print. This may be Microscale's finest yet! Also, closely cropped individual carrier film for each of the decal on the sheet. Featuring both US Army and USMC patches, insignias and ranks, in subdued and desert colors. Also inclusive is a colorful flag patches sheet.
Special feature: unique helmet patches for the 101st airborne! Just the "Screaming Eagles" patch for the arm would not be enough. Also, different kinds of Ranger shoulder tabs.
The name patches already come with names, but modellers can make their own name patches if they like - you'll need a sharp blade, a good set of tweezers and also a good pair of eyes!
Each of the insignias and patches are carefully created in 1/35 to match closely to the dimensions of the actual patches. No effort is spare from creating each artwork - if you can't see the details on the sheet, it means it's too fine to be printed in 1/35! Hopefully, they will make it in 1/16th scale!
Many thanks to Joel Russ and Robert Buriks for their help in this sheet. If this set proves successful, there will be a following sheet coming with more subdued and desert patches - again thanks to Joel!
